Salut

What a nice surprise! I came home on Saturday night and the house smelled sooo good. Gregory had cooked a wonderful French meal.
Heather, Grace and Trinity are waiting patiently for everyone to sit at the table.
This tomato and egg salad is really nice. Gregory made the dressing with fresh herbs from our garden.
A creamy french omelet. mmm.
The best part of the meal was definitely the escargot bourdalaise - cooked with a little bit of bacon, shallots, garlic, tomato, and about 2 cups of wine, which is then simmered for a good hour or more. The sauce is reduced and the escargot has so much flavor. Greg bought the perfect dishes for the escargot, too.
A Rhone wine to go with the Rhone meal.
A French dessert wine for ....dessert.
Salut!
