Lou-Lou-Belle's-New-Christmas-Holiday

We had an amazing amount of snow this winter, and even had a white Christmas, which is pretty rare. The snow is mostly gone now, with just ugly piles of dirty snow left on the side of the roads and driveways. I thought I'd share a few pictures of the snow when it was still beautiful.
One Sunday, we were completely snowed in and got a surprising invitation from our neighbour. Our neighbours had planned a huge party at their house for about 50 guests, and since all their friends were also snowed in (and therefore could not make it to the party), our neighbours decided to have an impromptu block party. So we put on all our snow gear, trudged on up the road and had a lovely afternoon.
Of course the kids made snowmen!
Meet "Pee-Wee", Mary's creation.
Thomas helped Trinity make this little cutie. Trinity chose the perfect carrot for the nose, and then came in to ask for something to use for the eyes and mouth. I handed her some almonds, and I think they worked out pretty well, don't you?
Trinity told me that her snowman's name is "Lou-Lou- Belle's-New-Christmas-Holiday".
Umm....okay. It looks like Lou-Lou wants a hug!
