Potatoes

The kids really wanted a garden this year. That sounded like a lot of extra work for me, but I did have some old potatoes in the kitchen, so I handed them to Eva, not really knowing what (if anything) would happen. Well, Eva & Thomas worked so hard on their potato patch. The ground is so rocky & overgrown with weeds ; I was so impressed with their determination. They were pretty good at watering, too. Here are Thomas & Eva with the fruits of their labour. The potatoes were so good, tossed in butter and fresh parsley.mmm. Thanks, Thomas & Eva.
