Here are some of the desserts we had this week.

My mum gave me some pastry that she made, and I put together this lemon tart with it.

I guess I could call this a chocolate pistachio tart? The pastry is made with pistachios, the filling is a chocolate ganache, and I topped it with whipped cream and sprinkled it with chopped pistachios. It was pretty good.Apparently I volunteered to bake some cakes for a Halloween party at the school. The kids were all hoping to win one in the cake walk. I thought that was pretty funny. win one of our cakes! Luckily she didn't win the one with chocolate sprinkles on it - Gregory was teasing me that it looked like the chocolate sprinkles were ants, crawling all over it. (ew.)
